When measuring, you should be in a bathing suit or underwear to get the most accurate measurements possible. Use a cloth or plastic measure, NOT the metal construction kind! You should have someone take your measurements for you instead of trying to do it yourself...it is much more accurate that way.
Height: Stand against the wall with no shoes and your heels touching the wall. Make sure you are standing on a flat surface as opposed to carpet. Carpet adds inches to your height.
Chest: Measure across nipples. Make sure to be relaxed and standing up straight.
Waist: For women, measure around the smallest part of their waist. If you are uncertain where to measure, have the woman bend sideways, either to the right or left. This is where you measure. If you are still uncertain, then measure over the belly button. For men, measure above where they wear their boxers or briefs.
Low Hips: Measure around the widest part around the bottom.
Inseam: Measure from the inner leg of the crotch (where the leg meets the torso) down to the ankle bone (DO NOT measure to the floor).
