Children Division
Our kids rock! You’ve seen them on television, in major motion pictures, on Broadway, and in commercials too numerous to mention. You’ve seen them in thousands of print advertisements and heard them in radio spots. From the big screen to the stage, from magazines to radio... there’s not much this elite division hasn’t conquered-they are the best of the best!
To be a part of this superstar crew, your child must possess the attitude, the passion, and the drive it takes to make it in this business. This will also require a special parent who has the willingness and the flexibility to make auditions and bookings on a moment’s notice. This can be critical to your child’s success. We can only consider kids that live within an hour or two of San Francisco. However, if your child is an experienced actor relocating to the Bay Area and looking for representation, please feel free to send us their reel! The reel should represent the body of work they have accumulated thus far and should include any plays, commercials, industrials or motion pictures to their credit. Keep in mind that this tape will not be returned. Please send the tape to our children’s division, attention to Print and Fashion Director.
All submissions are determined not only by photos and a cover letter, but also by measurements, so please include these. Size is everything in our business; therefore it is essential to determine if your child is small, average or large for their age, as certain sizes tend to work more frequently than others do. Additionally, many of our kids work as fit models for the Gap, Old Navy, and Gymboree.
We accept submissions for kids 3 to 18 years of age. Please follow the guidelines for submitting children to our agency.
How to Submit
1. Enclose two to three 4x6 snapshots, both close-up and body. Please put your child's name, address, phone number and all measurements on the back of each photo. Please include your email address so that we may contact you to set up an interview if we are interested in representing you or your child. Do not invest in professional pictures, snapshots are sufficient.
2. Include a cover letter or letter of introduction that details any training or acting experiences your child may have had. Please keep in mind that no experience is necessary; however if there is a unique quality your child possesses, i.e. they are fluent in another language or they are a young Tiger Woods, please let us know!
3. Please provide a self-addressed stamped envelope so we can send your photos back to you. Please do not submit cd's as pictures as we do not have time to review electronic files.
How To Measure
Accurate measurements are critical to this business and to the success of your child! Please include the following specs on the back of your snapshots.
1. Height Measure child standing on a flat surface, without shoes and with heels touching the wall, please specify in inches.
2. Weight
3. Chest Measure across mid-chest.
4. Waist For girls, measure around smallest part of waist; for boys, measure above boxers/briefs.
5. Low Hips Measure around widest part of the bottom.
