Women come in all shapes and sizes, which is why fit modeling is so FUN. Designers look for petites, juniors, missy, tall and plus sized women. Plus size fit models especially vary in body shape. Designers will look for curvy, even proportions or pear shaped women. Please keep in mind that it’s impossible to get accurate measurements if you’re measuring yourself so please have someone else measure you before submitting to the agency for adult fit modeling. Also, clients will often request fit models within a specific age range. In general, clients are looking for women between 16-40 years of age.
